Romantic Breaks in Scotland with Scotland’s Personal Hotels:
Scotland has to be one of the most romantic destinations, perfect for a romantic break with your loved one.
Scotland has so much to offer from the wonderful scenery, stunning lochs, historic castles and houses to the very romantic cities and towns across Scotland.
Edinburgh has plenty opportunities for a romantic break - the cobbled streets of the Old and New Town, the secret gardens off the Royal Mile and with many lovely restaurants to choose from. In Edinburgh we have two stunning boutique hotels Nira Caledonia and The Dunstane - both perfect for a romantic break in Edinburgh. Should you wish to be on your own we have a wonderful mews apartment in Stockbridge. Stockbridge is like a small village in the centre of Edinburgh with a great selection of bars, restaurants and fantastic food shops - ideal for a quiet night in with a bottle of bubbly.
There is so much to see and do in Edinburgh so you will need more than a couple of nights to enjoy this wonderful romantic location.
To help I have put together a few suggestions to help you make the most of Edinburgh for a romantic break. Decide which hotel is best for you Nira Caledonia or Dunstane? Or Self-catering?

Take the small path up to the Castle Esplanade for some great pictures with Edinburgh in the background. Head down the Royal Mile and explore the hidden closes and gardens. Stop for an express or leisurely lunch at Wedgewood on the Royal Mile.
