Welcome to our "Autumn Breaks in Scotland 2018".
Autumn is a great time to visit Scotland with autumn colours surrounding the lochs, moors, mountains and glens - a wonderful sight. Plus, you are assured of some fantastic deals from our hotels.
Booking an “Autumn Break” from our site you are booking direct with the hotels own online booking system assuring you of the best deal possible.
Offers include: Stay 2 nights get 3rd free, tribute weekend breaks and many more. We add new “Autumn Breaks” all the time so please check back regularly. Should the hotel you fancy not be featuring a break please drop the hotel a quick email to see what they can offer you or check online.
Please note: Due to the nature of online booking systems it is not always possible to book special short break deals online. Should you find this, please feel free to check availability online for your dates and then contact the hotel by email or a quick phone call. Personally, I always recommend contacting the hotel direct, a quick call and chat - you might end up with a wee upgrade!!

Taste of Autumn at Cringletie
Wonderful Autumn Break at Cringletie a lovely country house hotel set in stunning location - 2 nights bed and breakfast plus dinner 1 night from £285.00
The countryside in Autumn is simply stunning and a wonderful time to visit Scotland.
Here are my Top 3 reasons to visit Scotland this Autumn:
1. The crowds of tourists have gone and children are back at school leaving you with quiet country roads in which to explore Scotland.
2. With all its autumn colours Scotland is just magical, the countryside turns into a rich glow of red, amber and gold.
3. Hotels are quieter meaning rates drop.... lots of great autumn break offers for you to choose from.
Once you have decided you want to visit Scotland in autumn where do you go? The simple answer is just about anywhere – probably not very helpful but really in any part of Scotland you will find the wonderful colours of autumn and some great autumn break offers from our hotels.
I have listed below a few suggestions to help you.
I am biased as I live in Edinburgh - The Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh is a great place to start. Just outside of Edinburgh you have Roslin Glen where you can also take in the famous Roslin Chapel. In Edinburgh we have Dunstane House & Nira Caledonia Hotel plus wonderful self-catering apartment in Stockbridge. On the outskirts of Edinburgh just 20/30 minutes from Edinburgh city centre we have the wonderful Carberry Tower, a stunning Scottish mansion house set in it's own estate, a perfect autumn escape.
Glentress Forest near Peebles – not only great for autumn colours but walking and cycling as well. We have three hotels close-by – Tontine Hotel in Peebles, Caddon View at Innerleithen and Cringletie House hotel just outside of Peebles. Our hotels close to Peebles.
Dumfries & Galloway hold an Autumn Festival each year so it’s worth checking out what they have available, click here. In the area we have Blackaddie House Hotel, Trigony Hotel and Cairndale, details on all can be found here.
Perthshire – The Trossachs and really anywhere across Perthshire is a good choice. Meikleour Beech Hedge the longest hedge in the UK and at over 30 metres high is quite a sight in autumn. Check out our hotels in Central Scotland and the West Coast.
Aberdeen and The Grampians with their Malt Whisky Trail and Castle Trail through stunning countryside is certainly not an area to miss this autumn - check out our hotels here.
The Highlands of Scotland are dramatic at any time of the year. In autumn the mix of colours is just wonderful. All our Highland hotels offer great deals during the autumn months. See our Highland hotels here.
