The hotel employs, not one, but two first class chefs. They have between them years of experience and training which is most evident when you have a meal in the restaurant. This has been recognised by the awards of an AA Rosette and an entry in Taste of Scotland listings. In addition a number of other professional organisations notably Les Routiers, Ashley Courtenay and Signpost have given their sign of approval to the food, accommodation and services provided by the Rosedale Hotel.
All meals are prepared with the freshest ingredients, be it fresh fish from the harbour, 'Specially Selected Scotch' Meats or fruit and vegetables. This is just one of the reasons that makes the Rosedale cuisine superior to most.
If you enjoy ' the eating experience' with a selection and choice, then try and include the Rosedale Hotel as one of your dining priorities when you visit the Islye of Skye.
The Rosedale Hotel offers a lounge bar, coffee lounge and guest lounge.
The Rosedale lounge is a quiet area with comfortable seating for residents, where you can plan your next days adventures on the island.
The Lounges, day or night, are a relaxing environment and, when you care to look up from your novel, it will only serve to confirm that you have found a haven of relaxation with views overlooking the harbour.
The public bar hosts a wealth of drinks including 'Scotch Whiskys', draft beers and almost anything else you care to drink. The whisky in particular is worth sampling and is especially enjoyable if you have been to visit the local Talisker Distillery during your visit. Scottish beer and liquers are rather good also and worth a try. This Bar is typical of a Scottish bar with hospitality extending to all.
