At Scotland’s Personal Hotels we have over 20 hotels across Scotland that are dog friendly with many going the extra mile to make sure you and your dog have a great stay.
Having two dogs myself I understand the needs of dog owners. Many hotels sell themselves as dog friendly but when you arrive you are given a list of things you and your dog cannot do.
Dog friendly to us means exactly that. We want to make sure you and your dog/dogs enjoy your stay without many restrictions. Almost all our hotels provide dog baskets as well as food and water bowls. The only restriction our hotels tend to have is no dogs during food service in the restaurants. We need to make sure that all guests are happy and a restaurant full of dogs might not be very relaxing when the smell of lovely food is served – a rather large temptation for all dogs!! Our hotels offer other eating options for example bar or lounge areas where you can eat and your dog can keep you company.
Offering easy access to the outside is very important and where possible dog friendly rooms are on the ground floor offering quick and easy access outside. In some hotels, bedrooms open right out into the gardens, just perfect for the early morning walk!!
