Our Head Chef Alasdair Stewart and his team use homegrown produce of game from the Estate, salmon, wild mushrooms and freshly picked herbs from the garden, to ensure everything produced in his kitchen is fresh and home made.
We serve dinner in our dining room and lunches in the Library, in a relaxed atmosphere with the menu's emphasis on "fresh" and "light" dishes.
We offer an extensive wine list, including the Duke's selection from his own private cellar and an extensive whisky selection for the after dinner "dram".
Should you wish a private room we can offer "The Roxburghe Room" which seats 18 guests, The Roxburghe Room provides a unique dining experience in a private room with a log fire and large sash windows overlooking the gardens.
All of the 22 bedrooms have been individually designed, all have a unique charming character, some have four-poster beds and log fires. All have the facilities you would expect from a deluxe country house hotel.
We have 16 rooms situated in the Main House and 6 rooms in the Courtyard, that are ideal for families, golfing groups and sporting guests.
All rooms are furnished with care and elegance, fully equipped with flatscreen TV and satellite channels, ipod stations and wifi.
Kennels are available adjacent to the hotel for your four legged friends.
