Located right in the centre of the lovely town of Moffat, the Annandale Arms Hotel has been a major local landmark for two hundred and fifty years.
We are located just a few minutes from the M74/M6 motorway, here you will discover a small, smart family run hotel that offers a level of comfort and service that is hard to equal. We have sixteen bedrooms all recently refurbished offering an intimate atmosphere.
We have an excellent restaurant, which has just been awarded an AA Rosette. We offer a generous wine list and a fine selection of single malt whiskies served in the oak panelled bar.

The Restaurant Magazine December 2008 voted among the Best of the rest in the Game-to-Eat competition for stuffed loin of red deer venison in a red wine jus.
"The menu is a careful balance of traditional Scottish and international recipes, using the best of local produce served in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Scotch beef, game and wild salmon are found at the forefront but for a more rustic option try the the steak stout and mushroom pie served with hand cut potato chips".

All our 16 bedrooms have been recently refurbished in a modern contemporary style yet with sympathy for the building's history.
All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms and the majority have both bath and shower. To ensure a comfortable night sleep, there are pocket sprung mattresses on the beds and, of course, all rooms have complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, Wifi, digital television, telephone and hair drier as standard.
We also have some rooms that are reserved for pet owners. Please make your wishes known when you book.

We have a large function suite with its own private bar, perfect for a full traditional Scottish wedding breakfast with a kilted piper or something much simpler, we can accommodate all your needs.
If you book all the bedrooms there is no room hire and you can dance the night away. The wedding ceremony can be held in the hotel (the Annandale is registered for civil weddings and partnerships), one of the nearby churches, or in the registry office in Moffat Town Hall next to the hotel. Gretna Green Black Smith Shop is only half an hour away.

Our two dedicated function rooms are ideal for conferences and meetings. The larger room 96m square and can seat 120 delegates theatre style or up to 44 around a single table, boardroom style......
There is also a smaller adjoining committee room 40m square that can seat 35 delegates theatre style and 20 around a single table, boardroom style.
