Refurbishment News from Blackaddie Hotel
We have also just completed phase one of our refurbishment plan, we have completely transformed our restaurant which now shows off our food far better as it is now more in keeping with fine dining. We have also redecorated the entrance. The hotel is now looking quite stunning and the gardens are in full bloom.
We also have two new key staff in place, firstly Daniel Hollern, formerly Head Chef of the Linen Room in Dumfries, nominated last year for chef of the year and tipped to be a Michelin Star winner of the future, has joined Blackaddie as Sous Chef to Ian in the kitchen. With Daniel's help the food at Blackaddie will become even better.
Martin Grieg also joins Blackaddie as Assistant/Restaurant Manager. Martin a Canadian Scot, born in Glasgow but his family moved to Canada when he was still quite young. He has now returned to his native Scotland but brings with him a wealth of knowledge and of course that Canadian zest for life and customer service skills that are second to none.
These two new appointments mean that Blackaddie can only go from strength the strength and that we have a bright future ahead of us.
