Forss House boasts one of the finest restaurants in the north Highlands set in the elegant Dining Room of this most welcoming Georgian country home. Dine on the season’s freshest local produce straight from the rivers, coastline & estates that surround us; the very best of Scotland’s fabled natural larder. With such fantastic ingredients our seasonal menu of well balanced, uncomplicated, modern Scottish dishes leaves the natural flavours to do all the talking.

Non Residents
Non residents are very welcome to dine at Forss House any evening, we just ask that you please book in advance by phoning us on 01847 861201. The restaurant is open from 7.00pm with last table at 9.00pm. We all love children but it's only fair to point out that Forss House is not really suited to the under 12's.
 

We have 14 comfortable ensuite bedrooms in all including 12 Master Bedrooms which are even more spacious, comfortable and elegant.

All of our bedrooms have ensuite bathroom, radio, flat screen LCD TV and direct dial telephone. Master Bedrooms also have a DVD and CD player and satellite television.

There are 8 bedrooms within the Main House. All of these rooms have been decorated to a very high standard and always keeping with the feel and style of the original features of the house.

Adjacent to the Main House is the Fishing Lodge and the River House. The Fishing lodge consists of two Standard Twin Bedrooms which both have large lobby areas for storing the associated ‘kit’. The River House has four Master Bedrooms which have recently been refurbished and are all very light and spacious with large patio doors.

Weddings at Forss

Forss House is perfect for intimate Weddings of up to 28 guests. We will help you plan every detail and be on hand on the day to make sure everything is as it should be.
We are pleased to host religious and civil ceremonies, and for Winter Weddings special rates apply.

Special Occasions
If you would like to have a birthday or other celebratory dinner with friends and family at Forss the Radclyffe room is available for private dinners and can seat up to 14 comfortably. Alternatively, for larger groups of up to 28 guests, the Restaurant can be booked for exclusive use.

Exclusive Use

Forss House is also available to hire exclusively, solely for you and your guests to enjoy. We offer special and seasonal tariffs that include dinner, overnight accommodation and breakfast for up to 28 guests.
