Broomhall Castle Hotel by Stirling

Broomhall Castle is a fine Baronial Mansion sitting on the slopes of the Ochil Hills just outside Stirling. We are a small privately owned Hotel with refurbished bedrooms and a relaxed atmosphere. If you are looking for good food and a relaxing break come and try us!

In 2003 the current family bought Broomhall Castle with a view to turning it into a small hotel. Extensive works have been carried out including a new restaurant with exposed stonework and a lounge to enjoy your before and after dinner drinks.

We are open for lunches and evening meals 7 days a week.  Booking is advisable as we only have a limited number of tables. We have a policy here at Broomhall Castle that the table is yours for the evening to ensure that you are not hurried and you can relax and enjoy your meal. On arrival why not relax in our lounge where you can browse our menu and have pre-dinner drinks, and again relax in comfort with after dinner coffee’s and liqueurs.

Our restaurant uses where possible only the finest fresh local ingredients and all food is prepared in our kitchen by our chefs, who are on hand to discuss any Special dietary requirements you may have.

We can accommodate parties of 2 – 100 for meals either in our restaurant or main function room.

Our ten en-suite bedrooms have all been refurbished to a high standard with Solid Wooden Beds and Quality Mattresses.
Cleanliness is very important us and we pride ourselves on our top quaility UK manufactured linen.

Broomhall Castle can cater for weddings of any size between 2 and 100 guests for your ceremony and meal with an additional 50 guests for your evening reception.

Broomhall Castle can be yours exclusively for the day and holds a civil ceremony licence.  Our dedicated function team ensure that the day is tailored to your individual needs as we find that no two weddings (or Brides!!) are ever the same.

We can can provide meeting rooms, small or large conference rooms and depending on requirements and chosen layout, we can accommodate numbers up to 100 delegates.

We can provide the following layouts, u-shape, open square, boardroom style, classroom style and threatre style.

At present we have one large room and two smaller rooms which can be used as your main room or break out areas.

An ohp, ohp screen, flipcharts, pens and paper, water, cordial and mints are included in your conference package.

Any wedding booked quoting Scotland’s Personal hotels and taken between the 2nd January and the 30th April 2011 will qualify for a free champagne reception for the day guests, along with a complimentary bridal suite on the night of the wedding.

We are lucky to be situated just five miles from the city of Stirling yet behind the Castle there is nothing but Hills for miles.

Locally you have the modern Shopping facilities of Stirling or local market towns as well as the Stirling Mills Outlet Centre and Designer Village with factory outlet stores such as Nike and Marks & Spencers, all competing for your holiday money!

You have many historic sites such as the William Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle which can both be seen from some of the Castles bedrooms! We have many other historical sites and castles within a short drive including Doune Castle where Monty Python filming took place. Alongside this you have many golf courses ranging from a local 9 holes on the hillfoots themselves to Gleneagles which is just 20 minutes away. Swimming and other activities are all available locally and we will do all we can to point you in the right direction should you want us to.
