The Station Hotel is situated in the beautiful small town of Portsoy, which is set right on the Moray Firth coast, offering spectacular cliff top and seaside scenery. Portsoy is steeped in Scottish History and its 17th Century harbour is said to be the oldest natural harbour in Europe. This coast is well known for its marine wildlife, the famous Moray Firth Dolphins are regularly sighted as well as many types of whales, porpoises, seals, otters etc. Portsoy is also an ideal location for those wishing to explore Grampians' Castle and Whisky trails.

We have an extensive a la carte menu, where our chefs take full advantage of the finest fresh local ingredients. And of course all the dishes are cooked to order.
Locally caught seafood is something of a speciality, as you would expect being located right on the Moray Firth Coast. We serve the Freshest Fish possible, all of it sourced from the local fish-merchant Smiths of Sandend, just a mile down the road.
The Station Hotel in Portsoy was extensively refurbished in 2007 and can now offer a very high standard of accommodation at a very reasonable cost.
We now have 14 very comfortable, tastefully individually decorated bedrooms and a two bed-roomed family suite.
All rooms offer modern en-suite bathrooms with showers, TV, hospitality tray, desk and hairdryers.
