The historic Douglas Arms Hotel Banchory, on the High Street was taken over by Steve Ross and Kirsty Robertson in April 2007. Built between 1840 and 1850 the hotel is one of the oldest buildings in Banchory. Now into their second year the hotel has benefited from considerable refurbishment, introducing new, modern but comfortable furniture, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal, a glass of wine or just a coffee , On sunny days the terrace is an ideal place to enjoy a meal or drink.

A new chef and a fresh menu with locally sourced food- with such appetising dishes as Natural Smoked Haddock and Pan Seared Tuna Salad. And with desserts including mouth-watering Sticky toffee Pudding and White Chocolate Cheesecake, who could resist?
The tasty lunch menu includes Bagels and a Classic Club Sandwich, and a selection of wines- which can all be bought by the glass- include six, white six red, two roses and three champagnes.
