Cluny Bank was built in the early 18 hundreds and extended in 1910. Being a listed historic building it has been carefully maintained. It was a private home for many years and is only recently converted into a 3 star hotel . Lloyd Kenny, the new chef/owner of the Cluny Bank Hotel, is passionate about the food he produces and serves to the guests. He has been in the trade for 35 years, since he was 14.
Lloyd personally prepares, cooks and often serves the food for the restaurant. We have an A La Carte Menu which offers the guest a choice of 5 or 6 starters and 7 or 8 main courses all individually priced. The menu changes on a fortnightly basis to enable us to use fresh and seasonal product. All our meat is supplied by MacBeths Butchers of Forres and Scottish Wild Boar from Beauly, our fish is supplied by The Lossie Fish Shop in Elgin and Duncan Fraser Fishmongers of Inverness
Our hotel offers a choice of single, double, twin and family accommodation. All rooms are tastefully decorated and provided with colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone, hairdryer and alarm clock. Most rooms have a private en-suite bathroom. Some of the bedrooms are also equipped with a desk and an extra telephone line for modem or fax use. For your convenience a laundry/dry cleaning service, iron and ironing board are also available.
